This is a Hard-To-Find, ANTIQUE, VINTAGE, Like-NEW, EXCELLENT Condition "Hand Etched Floral Leaves Motif Flower Leaf Design Crystal Art Glass Fluted Bud Vase" made in Japan in the mid-1930s. Purchased by my friend's Great Aunt while living in Japan during 1935, this LOVELY Vase is typical of the type of high-end glassware the Japanese were making for sale to Western visitors and tourists. It was displayed inside a glass cabinet until the mid-1980s when it was packed away and forgotten about. Recently rediscovered, it has been safely and securely stored for over 25 years. It is in EXCELLENT Condition with NO marks, stains, odors, chips, cracks, scratches or other damage; it comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. With a height of approximately 9 inches, it has a top diameter of approximately 3 1/8th inches and a base diameter of approximately 2 7/8ths inches; the bottom is NOT Marked.

This ELEGANT Vase is a pleasure to view, as is to simply enjoy the etched art work or with a bouquet of flower. An ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS example of Japanese glass etching craftsmanship, this sweet Bud Vase Flower Vessel is made from clear crystal glass that has a nice ring tone. With BEAUTIFUL detailing, the flower petals are lined creating a WONDERFUL texture, while the leaves are acid etched giving them an opaque look. With a TALL, GRACEFUL appearance, this Vase is IDEAL for display or use at home or work!
