We tested the system opening & closing the pool 2-3 times per day and if there was 2 days full sunshine per week,  then the solar panel fully charged the battery, and the AC/DC charger was not needed during the season at all.  Designed to use with the most common "12 mil" solar blanket or use with any solar blanket that is maximum 1/4" thick and compatible with most 3" aluminum tubes.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS sale: the solar battery operated stainless steel reel-end system; two handheld remote controllers; an AC/DC indoor battery charger, that is not necessary for the daily operation of the unit and not intended to be plugged in outdoors for your safety, only needed for winterizing the battery, to keep your battery conditioned and charged to be ready for use in the spring again.
