BASIL RATHBONE SELECTS STRANGE TALES
Belmont Books, 1965
First Printing
Condition: Very Good-

This collection consists of six 19th-century horror tales. Besides Poe, Hawthorne and Le Fanu, the authors are Wilkie Collins, Edward Bulwer-Lytton and a collaboration by Charles Allston Collins and Charles Dickens. (Don't know if Rathbone actually selected the stories or if his name was just used as an attention-grabber.) Moderate edge wear, a reading crease and some other light creasing, a small stain on the bottom edges, tiny writing on front cover, internal yellowing and a name and bookstore stamp on the first page.
