**GROWN ON OUR FARM HERE IN TENNESSEE** ** 35 SEEDS ** GIANT GOLIATH SILO CORN ** These Plants get HUGE ! ** Hybrid silo corn is almost as tall as open-pollinated Goliath, but is a little earlier and provides a much greater grain yield. Hybrid Goliath grows 12 to 16 feet high, about a foot shorter than open-pollinated Goliath. However, Hybrid Goliath matures about five days earlier and yields around 127 to 175 bushels of grain per acre--nearly twice the yield of open-pollinated Goliath. While open-pollinated Goliath is a white corn, Hybrid Goliath is a yellow type with excellent dry-down and picker ratings, larger ears and a reduced susceptibility to lodging. Hybrid Goliath is more versatile, withstanding plantings up to a plant population of 26,000. A medium late variety maturing in 105-115 days. SEED IS UNTREATED.
