This is a fabulously GROOVY vintage crochet raffia vest in sunny yellow.
I believe it is from the 60's, possibly the early 70's.
Hand crocheted of raffia straw.
True primary yellow.
Crochet circles, with rib trim.
Wide rib section at midriff.
Crochet covered buttons and loops.
Lined with silky fabric - probably acetate.
No labels of any kind. I don't recommend washing.
This will be so adorable over a mini dress, hip hugger skirt, palazzo pants, or bell bottom jeans. So many possibilities, and an iconic mod look!
In excellent condition with no damage or any signs of wear. Immaculate.
