This necklace is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. It measures 18" long (not including pendant) & is made of faceted rondel rubies & 20K gold beads with a granulation design. The 20K gold pendant measures 1.25" across & 1.5" long, including the bail. There is a cabochon ruby inset & a delicate design on the borders, typical of Indian jewelry craftsmanship. There is a delicate, secure S-shaped hook & eye clasp, also of gold. The design is intentionally simple, so the focus is on the components. This necklace easily transitions from daytime to evening wear. Truly a special piece, fit for a princess!
