Up for bid is a Dakin© United Syndicate Inc stuffed soft plush Garfield© cat, dated 1978 1981 as listed on the tag.  (48 years old) Garfield measures approximately 12 1/2" x 8 1/2".   Front paws are sewn together, colors and plush are excellent.  Eyes and nose are solid set.  No known recalls.   

"breathing is exercise", "eat every meal as though it were your last", "so much time, so little to do", "I hate Mondays", "oh, you little suck-up", "Diet is die with a "t", and more memorable quotes that I have laughed about. 

In addition to being portrayed as lazy and fat, Garfield is also pessimistic, sadistic, cynical, sarcastic, sardonic and a bit obnoxious. He enjoys destroying things, mauling the mailman, tormenting Odie, kicking Odie off the table; he also makes snide comments, usually about Jon's inability to get a date.
