This is a lovely and feminine vintage nightgown by Shadowline.
Size Petite (Which I believe is a Petite Small)
Baby blue.
Nylon chiffon and lace, with smooth silky nylon underskirt.
The empire bodice is white lace over blue nylon chiffon. Blue satin trim.
Under bust satin inset the comes to an inverted v shape in front.
Three satin-covered buttons.
Very full floaty light blue nylon skirt with pretty full sweep ruffly lettuce hem.
Skirt lined with silky nylon.
Shadowline had a reputation for quality lingerie, and this gown is a wonderful example.
In excellent vintage condition with no damage. Immaculately clean and ready to wear. Freshly hand washed in mild Ivory Soap.
