Lap Over Edge Acid Etched by Tiffany Sterling Silver Aesthetic Butter Pats #0058
This outstanding set of four sterling butter pats was made by Tiffany & Co. in the pattern "Lap Over Edge". They are hand hammered, acid etched. and partial gilt featuring aesthetic elements including butterflies, cattails, and a beetle. Stamped with the date letter "M" circa 1880, and the #6265/2937. They measure 1/4" tall, 3" diameter, and the set weighs 4.8 ozt. They are in excellent condition with vintage monograms (see photos). Museum quality.
