Ring in 925 sterling silver and 999 fine silver, patinated to enhance the jewel. It is set with blue Labradorite. It is made entirely by hand.
The silver of this jewel has been patinated. Patina is a technique used which has the effect of oxidizing certain metals. The oxidation of a jewel is seen by the presence of blackish hues on the metal. This technique makes it possible to highlight the different textures of a jewel and sometimes to enhance the colors of certain stones. Therefore, the jewelry worn is highlighted.
