Diminutive but charming, this demitasse cup is porcelain with a luster glaze.  The roses are clustered on one side.  There is an ornate handle adding to the drama.  Stamped Germany 168 in brown on the bottom. Demitasse cups were used to serve highly concentrated coffee drinks and were also used for hot chocolate. Many do not have a matching saucer. Holds 1/2 cup of coffee. There is a small flea bite on bottom edge. Measures 2.5" tall X 2.75" diam. Look for many other teacup sets in my booth.
