Fidji Perfume by Guy Laroche, Fidji, introduced in 1966, was the first women’s perfume launched by fashion designer Guy Laroche. It was created by perfumer Josephine Catapano and named after the Fiji Islands in the south Pacific. Top notes include hyacinth, galbanum, and lemon, giving a fresh initial scent. Carnation, jasmine, and Bulgarian rose are some of the notes that make up the heart for a floral sensation. Base notes include sandalwood, balsam, patchouli, musk, and oakmoss.
