Offered here is this Fabulous Antique Art Nouveau Style Turned and Carved Salvaged Stair-rail Spindle. I am unsure of its exact age, but it is Art Nouveau style in the carving. It is in fairly good condition but there are a few small gouges in the wood and a lot of light surface scratches to the finish. The piece looks to be quite old. It is 32" tall, and 1.75" square at each end. It is a beautiful old stairway spindle, beautifully carved. It would be a great Salvage piece to use in a restoration project or just to use in a decorative project.
