Offered here is this fabulous antique porcelain Horse hair crumb brush or lint brush. It is from England. The brush has what I believe are horse hair bristles, and the top portion is porcelain and is shaped figurally in the shape of a guard. The top portion is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, and has a little hole at the back so the brush could be hung on the wall as a decorative piece when not being used. The bristles of the brush are a bit worn on one side, which I am sure was the side that was commonly used, therefore the bristle level at the bottom is a little bit lopsided. All of the bristles seem to be intact however. I am unsure of the exact age of this brush. The brush is 5.5" long in total, with the porcelain portion being 3" long, 2.5" wide, and about 1.25" thick. This is a fabulous old porcelain piece, with a registration number of 869473. It is a very nice antique figural lint brush would make a fabulous addition to any antique collection.
