Description
This is a hand blown pink and blue millefiori paperweight featuring by WV glass artist John Gentile. The impressed mark on the bottom reads GENTILE GLASS STAR CITY WV with a picture of a man holding a blow pipe.
SIZE: This paperweight is about 3 1/4" wide and 2 7/8" tall.
CONDITION: This paperweight has been displayed but is undamaged. I have examined it both visually and with my fingers and it does not have any cracks or chips; it does have a few bubbles in the pink area (see photos).
BACKGROUND: I recently bought a number of things from the estate of a neighbor who had several thousand figurines, many figural boxes and paperweights, and huge glass and china collections from many different makers. I'll be listing more things from this purchase over the next several weeks.
