Some are preowned. Some are new. The new ones have surface scuffs on the covers, and wear on the edges because they are from a bookstore closing where books were being tossed around a bit. The insides of the books are in excellent condition with no damages, no markings, no rips or creases, etc. There are some with price tag residue. The preowned books come from a single-child family and were well-treated... any flaws are noted below.
