Everything looks like new. This made for TV true story is only available as a cheapjack DVD-R from Sony's Choice Collection. These use the same source print as this vhs and will be full screen. They are not given a re-mastering and regular pressing like an ordinairy dvd release.

They will not play on recordable devices, have no special features, chapter stops are random rather than carefully placed and are kind of pricey. This vhs may be a better choice as it will look almost as good on newer widescreen TVs.

Like the movie 'Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman', the story is told in flashback through the aging eyes of the black Delaney sisters. This gives a chance for the make-up effects to stand out as these "old women" play their younger selves.

They share their experience with New York Times reporter Amy Hill Hearth (Amy Madigan) As children of a slave, all 12 siblings went on to graduate from college. These two became a teacher and a dentist respectively.
