Brand new factory sealed dvd has a two inch cut-out mar thru the plastic and upc code on the back. This is done at the manufacturer to signify a discontinued item. The shrinkwrap has been torn away across the bottom edge, but  has been repaired with clear tape and is still obviously unopened new.

Both movies are dubbed in English and letterboxed inside a full frame. Which means, if you have a newer widescreen TV it will look best in one of your zoom modes. Both titles are Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats including this set.

MOONLIGHT SWORD & JADE LION: She promised her teacher she would find his brother. Stop her at your own peril! The trailblazing "Lady Kung Fu" -- Angela Mao -- stars in this sword-clanging, fist-flying tale of a heroic quest set in a China of generations ago. Highlights include Mao Yin's astonishingly acrobatic dispatching of a threatening gang and a table-flinging, gravity-defying free-for-all in a rural dumpling house. Wow!

BLOODY FISTS: Believe it or not, this was director Ng See Yuen's first film, a grimy little number with reputable Chen Sing fighting Chen Kuan-Tai to the death.

Tai plays a long haired Japanese fighter who wears a loud kimono (they all wear loud kimono's), while Sing is an escaped fugitive patriot. The two antogonists beat each other to death on the beach. The sound effects for the punches and kicks are "richocheting bullets".

Yuen Wo Ping, whose astonishing fight choreographies fill the 'Matrix' & 'Kill Bill' movies, orchestrated the action here and also makes an appearence.
