Box looks almost new, cassette is nice and clean. Pre-viewed for quality and had some quick interferance at 49 minutes, otherwise it played great. Out Of Print in all formats except pricey blu-ray and no longer being manufactured.
Parody of the recent proliferation of bad teen movies and the better John Hughes films of the '80s. Teen movie stereotypes are hammed up to the extreme, from the bitchy teenager to the dumb jock, nerdy beauty-in-waiting and fat guy for comic relief. If there was ever a genre begging to be parodied, it's teen movies.
Film's self-awareness is sometimes amusing but more often sinks to the level of what it's supposed to be satirizing, and of course, there's plenty of bodily-function and base sexual jokes. Entertaining cameos by Molly Ringwald ('Pretty in Pink') and John Vernon ('Animal House') though.
