Louisiana Iris’s are so versatile as to be considered the best all around iris.
It can thrive in full sun to partial shade and from a regular bedding planting to a pond or bog plant.
Jeri is an award winning Iris. He has received the Award of Merit in 1992 and then the Mary Swords Deballion Medal, the highest award for Iris in 1994. It’s blossoms are HUGH and a beautiful dark, dark purple.
It blooms profusely through out the summer with only a few ‘rest periods’ to build back for the next flowering.
You will receive three mature plants / fans. The soil will be removed to save you on shipping – this will not hurt the iris. The sword will be cut back like the last picture.
