Staffordshire Liberty Blue dinnerware was created as a promotional item for the Benjamin Franklin Savings & Loan which was founded in 1925.  They wanted to celebrate their 50th anniversity and to tie in with the 1776-1976 Bicentennial celebration.  This blue & white transferware was made by Enoch Wedgwood in the Staffordshire district of England, in the tradition of the 19th century Staffordshire ironstone china.  Each piece of the set depicts a different historic colonial scene, with a wildflower border.  The bank discontinued their promotion at the end of 1976.  I have six partial settings. I would love to keep them together, but I doubt anyone wants the entire set.  So, I decided to sell them as individual sets.  Each setting incudes:  two 9" luncheon plates, two 7" salad plates,  two 5-3/4" bread/butter plates, and two 5" fruit/berry dishes.  Of course, if a customer woould like to purchase the entire set, that would be great.  I'm willing to negotiate on the price.  All these dishes are in near perfect condition-no scratches, chips or breaks.  They don't show much sign of use at all.  The glaze has crazed a bit, but that only adds to the vintage look. All my items are sanitary and come from my clean, smoke free home
