NOTE: I will donate all revenue from the sale of this bracelet to organizations providing aid to those in Turkey & Syria impacted by the February 2023 earthquake.
The bracelet is designed & hand-woven (by me) using a technique called 2-drop peyote stitch, weaving more than 2,500 small beads, 2 at a time. The resulting bracelet is supple, with a fabric-like drape. It measures 1.5" (3.8cm) wide & 7.25" (18.4cm) long, including the silver-tone magnetic tube slide clasp.
NOTE: All items are shipped from my studio in the south of France, so please allow 2 weeks to reach addresses outside France. I ship quickly -- often the same business day -- but have no control over the speed or efficiency of the postal services here or around the world.
Among my favorite sources of inspiration are the beautiful ceramics of the Near East. For this pattern, my muse was a ceramic tile made in the area of Iznik, Turkey. It's a 2-color stylized floral motif that I made in 2 shades of peach, a pale peach for the background and a darker peach with a ceylon finish for the flower motif.
