This tall Royal Copley piggy bank is marked on the bottom as such. Royal Copley pottery artware was produced by the Spalding China Company of Sebring, Ohio from 1942 through 1957.The bank is painted in variations of pink on a background of white. The facial features are bold and expressive with the eyelashes outlined in black. The piggy bank is in very good condition with the exception of minute chips at the money slot. No other chips nor cracks. Not sure if it was intentionally painted this way or not but the bank is painted (airbrushed) only on one side - the front; the back was left white. Great for a collection or durable enough to be used as a savings bank!
The measurements are: 7 1/2 inches tall, 4 3/4 wide, and 4 inches deep.
