Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1930's adventure comedy/drama romance, DAVID HARUM, released in 1934 by the Fox Film Corporation and directed by James Cruze. Will Rogers plays a small town banker in the 1890's whose chief rival is the deacon (Charles Middleton), with whom he has traded horse flesh. Taylor is a bank teller who places a winning $4,500 bet on a 10-1 harness racing horse, making him Rogers' bank partner. The cast includes Louise Dresser, Evelyn Venable, Kent Taylor, Stepin' Fetchit, Noah Beery, Roger Imhof, and Frank Melton.
The image features a scene between David Harum (Will Rogers) and Ann Madison (Evelyn Venable), both of whom are wearing 1890's period attire. It is in good- condition only with multiple diagonal creases of varying sizes on each corner; random light wear in the borders; and a few small creases simply from handling over time. There image quality is very sharp with fine detail and nice contrast.
