The rear flap lists to Nancy Drew The Mystery of the Tolling Bell (1946) and the rear of the jacket lists to Beverly Gray's Problem (1943). The dust jacket has a "6565" designation at the top front flap and a "110-150" designation at the bottom of the flap. It is intact but does have minor edgewear and bumping, as well as a chip at the top of the jacket spine. Green boards. Pink staircase endpapers. Plain line frontispiece. Dark blue top page block. No writing/markings except for penciled numbers and price at the right top of the front free endpaper. Small store sticker attached to pasted-down rear endpaper. No tracking, no loose, ripped or missing pages, but they are yellowing wartime paper. Corner bumping, including minor corner bumps at the lower spine. Overall, an attractive vintage book illustrated by Pelagie Doane. JB-R2
