Item description
It feels like we've come upon a tender mother child moment. Figure is tenderly holding her standing child and is sharing an open book on her lap. Many other details: tiny bird, halo, cascading long hair, raised flower design on her cape. Artist's name MJ Hummel appears on the back bottom of cape. Finish is high gloss ivory. Maker's mark is stamped in blue ink and indicates Germany and shows the "full bee". This figure was manufactured 1950-1959. Stands 9" tall X 6" base. There is the tiniest of a chip on the edge of the halo. Refer to Photo # 5 No other flaws or crazing. Look for other religious themed items in my booth.
