Antique Leather 10" Hightop Ladies Boots and similar items

Thrashed pair of antique lace-up boots, for study or display (or whatever creative idea you come up with.) They feel like suede, but are so caked with white shoe polish I'm not sure that's right. What they probably are is kid. 10 inches high overall. Heels are almost 3" tall at the very back. 2 5/8" across the sole at the ball of the foot. They look to be around a six or seven, but I wouldn't recommend them for wear. They are from the Edwardian era, give or take a decade. Just the tiniest bit of brogueing up and around the shaft and across the vamp. Lined with cotton twill and stuffed long ago with newspaper, which I will leave in place. The tongue of the right shoe is chewed at the top, you can see part (but not all!) of what's missing in the very last photo. Ships in a box via your choice of service.
