Wet Plate Collodion 20x24 Bath Box Dipper This is brand new handmade Wet Plate Collodion 20x24 inches Bath Box Dipper for very large wet plate formats. This kit contains: Silver Bath Box with Dipper. The inner bath box (for the Silver Nitrate Solution) is made of 5 mm plexiglass, which is very inert towards all related chemical solutions. The inner bath box is fully removable from the outer wooden container for easier cleaning and manipulation. The outer container is made of beech and pine wood and finished with lacquer paint (mahogany color). The dipper is made of plexiglass. The wooden container is hinge covered and provided with a back bracket for fixation of the bath box in optimum inclined position. Inner dimensions are 680 x 545 x 18 mm (26,8 x 21,5 x 0,7 Inches). The bath box is optimized for the use of approximately 5500 ml (186 US oz) of the Silver nitrate solution. The bath box is not meant for permanent or long time storage of silver nitrate solution or any other solution. I recommend you to keep the silver nitrate in a separate bottle and only use the bath box during the collodion process. The inner plexiglass part of the bath box should never be filled while removed from the outer wooden part. The inner part is removable for the purpose of easier cleaning. We highly recommend to first fill the bath box with water to check for any leaks before using it for the first time.
