Lovely Vintage Solid Wood Storage Trunk – and similar items

Offered here is this Lovely Vintage Solid Wood Storage Trunk. It is in very good condition, and has obviously been well cared for, although I am unsure of the age or origins of the trunk. It is made of wood, with lovely metal accents. I am unsure of the type of wood that the trunk is made from, but I would guess that it is pine, based on the way it looks, and its natural finish. The trunk has a hinged lid, and both hinges are intact and working fine, although the one of the right side of the trunk is a little loose. The trunk looks like it should be lockable, however, there is no key with it. The trunk is 17” tall, 31.5” wide at the top, 16” deep at the top, 15” deep at the center, and 28.5” wide at the center, and is 15.5” deep inside. There is a nail head sticking out slightly at the center right front of the trunk, where it appears that a repair may have been made. This is visible in the photos. There is a small gouge on the other side of the front, just below one of the metal accent pieces, which is also in the photos. These flaws, while somewhat visible, do not detract from the beautiful or functionality of the trunk, but rather add character and patina. This is a beautiful trunk, with unique style and design. It would be a lovely addition to your home and adds storage as well as beautiful design and style.
