This is the factory original trunk lock rod, not the cheap aftermarket universal rods that do not fit or function like the original. Coupling joint in rod moves smoothly as it should. This was removed from a 1969 Cadillac Coupe Deville, but may fit vehicles listed in compatibility chart; fitment is verified by Cadillac Master Parts List 12.252, please do your own research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle.
