Oil Can Item # 881 Welcome, This listing is for one vintage 1 pint, pour spout galvanized oil can. It’s well weathered from being in a barn for decades which is where it came from. This unique can is in excellent vintage condition for its age which I would say it’s probably from the 1950’s. This can probably saw life around the farm in different rolls, maybe, from carrying liquid fertilizer, antifreeze, feed additives, and of course oils. It has a curved pour spout with pour shield and a solid handle. This type of can was versatile then, and can be now for you as you think about using it in a flower arrangement, utensil holder, even for pens and pencils, artist brushes and more…. or with its unique patina it makes an excellent display piece as is. I can’t find a maker’s name on it, but there is something embossed on the front that I can only make out “one pint” without disturbing the patina.
