Book Piece 70s Blue Striped LUCITE Bangle and 48 similar items

This is a cheerful colored set of three blue, orange, and light green striped domed Lucite plastic bangles with matching hoop clip on earrings. The bangles are 1” wide with 2 ” diameter openings. The earrings are tapered to the narrowest at the gold tone plated metal French clips and widen to ” thick, 3/8” wide at the bottom of the hoops. All pieces are in excellent vintage condition. These are pictured on page 173 and 174 of “Plastic Bangles” by Tortoriello Lyons, 2005 – likely made at the Best Plastics Company of Pawtucket, RI, maker of some of the best vintage Lucite you can find. It is fun to see your goodies validated in a published reference book. Fun to wear and great for the vintage jewelry collector!
