This is a very obvious variety that should not be confused with the lesser 1965 Doubled Die Obverse (FS-102), which shows less dramatic doubling on LIBERTY only. This coin is not a Doubled Die, it is Strike Doubled. Many "purist" collectors frown on Strike Doubled coins because the error occurs at the time of the strike rather than when the die was made.
