The stein is dated 1976 on the bottom, and is signed by the person who painted it. It has a delightful old world scene of a group of knights drinking ale. The stein is 8.25" tall, 3" in diameter at the top rim, 4" in diameter at the base, 8" deep, and the handle adds another 1.5" to that side. It is a beautiful, well painted stein, and would be a great addition to any stein collection, as well as being in perfect, usable condition.
