This drops down inside the DVD player. It is only part of the player. The 05 Pilot is one vehicle known to have used this drive in their 39100-S9V-A410-M1 players. We only guarantee it to work in place of 122ZA drives in that player, so you might want to check yours. Failure to do so does not make it not as described. The price is relatively cheap though (for factory audio/video), so you can afford to take a chance. Failure to match your part number and finding you have a compatibility problem does not qualify as a functional defect so make sure to match your part number before purchasing.
