Made by NASA, Kennedy Space Center, Space port, USA. The crew emblem features the iconic Space Shuttle and the last names of the seven brave astronauts who lost their lives in this mission. They were: Commander - Dick Scobee Pilot - Mike Smith Mission Specialists - Judith Resnik, Ronald McNair, and Ellison Onizuka. Payload Specialists - Gregory Jarvis, and Christa McAuliffe (who was a Teacher in Space participant). The obverse says: "KENNEDY SPACE CENTER FLORIDA" and "JANUARY 28, 1986".
