This is a vintage Mallory Fifth Avenue Fedora hat from the 1980s. It is in a gold color with a short brim, featuring a feather accent. The hat is a size 7 1/8 and has a tailored look. It is an original piece made in the United States, fitted with no known adjustments. Mallory of Fifth Avenue, also known as the Mallory Hat Company, has been in business since 1823 when it was founded by Ezra Mallory in Danbury, Connecticut, making it one of the oldest hat companies in the United States. Ezra Mallory is considered the originator of the Fedora hat. With all of the imperfections that this hat has gathered over the years, it still reflects the high quality of the Mallory brand.
