Item description

MONGOLIA Pick#....................51 Banknote Book # 403a Denomination ....50 Mongo Date.....................(1993) Condition?...?.UNC Comments?...... I traded notes with a fine fellow from Mongolia - I sent him these notes among others! It seems the notes saw no or little circulation in country. Probably made for a coinage shortage, then not used or used sparingly. The notes have a national sporting theme. Horse racing, archery and Mongolian wrestling are the most widely watched and practiced sports throughout the country. Two horse riders on front and reverse. . 2nd image is note under ultraviolet (UV) light, showing security inks. Mongolian: ????? pronounced as Mongo "silver". 1 Tugrik is divided into 100 Mongo. See my other notes from this country. Image is not exact notes in lot. NEVER A RESERVE !! CURRENCY DEN I combine shipping - all lots after first mailed FREE!
