This item is a collectible piece of history so my comments are not about fashion. The jacket is in perfect, unissued surplus condition, thus very displayable. Mine has clear gov't markings inside with a 1955 date. It is good for representing a French soldier during the Indochina or Algerian conflicts or the 1961 Berlin Crisis.
