Gorgeous rare vintage Blenko 7 point atomic star large hand blown serving bowl with original Blenko sticker still intact! I purchased this piece from the Blenko gift store in Milton, West Virginia in the mid 1980's and have enjoyed it for many years! It's time to downsize our lives, so we are passing it onto another Blenko glass lover to treasure! Though this 7 point design is hard to come by, it's even harder to find this textured exterior/smooth interior in this blue black colorway. Looks black when free standing and then in the light it shows it's beautiful cobalt blue color! Super hard to photograph (white specs are from our lighting, not flaws) this beauty is weighted (almost 5lbs) with smooth rounded star spikes (unlike newer versions that are thinner) and sure add a pop of color to any decor. Probably designed by Wayne Husted in the 1960's, this piece is very similar to his previous star pieces only larger. Outstanding like new condition, a fab piece to any Blenko collection!
