Item description

This is in very excellent condition, not mint because there are a few small marks on the top, nothing bad tho. So small they are not visible in the photos. Enlarge them and look closely and you may be able to see them. The 'Play' works perfectly and so does 'Rewind' but FF doesn't work at all. Also the ''reverse play' doesn't work but the 'change direction' button does but when you click the direction button it plays but the level meter only responds on the left channel and the right channel level does nothing. On normal play tho both levels work fine. This should be a very easy fix for those who know how to do electronic repairs but if you don't care about the 'auto reverse' or FF it works perfectly and is a great tape recorder to own. There is a professionally restored one at the time I'm writing this ad for $599 plus shipping. Oh and also it is missing two of the small 'handles' that attach to the five switches on the right hand side below the 'level meters' (see photos) they are completely functional it's really just a slight barely noticeable cosmetic flaw. I'm sure they are readily available somewhere online for a rather minimal cost. I have cleaned the tape heads and the capstan very thoroughly. A beautiful vintage piece from the 70s! This will be properly packaged for shipping to prevent any damage. This item is of course sold "AS IS" being that it is around 40+ years old and you should only purchase it if you don't mind the few small flaws it has or if you intend to fix them yourself or have someone fix them for you or if you want it for display usage or as a prop.
