Unabridged edition. Minor loss to the gilt-lettering to the spine, else fine in black leather-backed green cloth, all edges gilt; in a near fine matching green slipcase. Small quarto (7 1/4" by 10 1/4") 523 pages. Fully illustrated. Raoul Charles de Thuin (1890โ€“1975)[was a prolific stamp forger and dealer who operated from Mexico. De Thuin's work was considered so dangerous to philately that his tools and stock were purchased by the American Philatelic Society in 1966 in order to curtail his activities.
