Item description

Antique Real Photo Postcard, circa pre-1920. Depicting soldiers of Company E, 5th Regiment "retreating during engagement." Card #318D Divided back, AZO stampbox, unused. Condition: This is an original photo postcard, not a copy or reproduction. There is just a hint of a moisture mark in the upper right corner and middle top. Comments: This RPPC came with several others depicting soldiers of Co.E, 5th Regt. Although this card does not specifically identify the company and regiment, the caption is written in precisely the same handwriting and is of a similar numerical type. All these cards have been listed separately.
